Every year at the start of our busy season (about mid-September) we assess which locations did well the previous year, what we might be lacking for the year ahead and we set the intention to bring in more spaces like these. South Africa, Cape Town specifically, is known for its diverse landscapes, assorted properties, contrasting architectural styles and varied cultures. This means that the majority of print and commercial advertising you see being made here is actually for export.

Cherise has been actively searching for a wide range of locations to suit the Joburg market. This market differs from Cape Town in that 90% of the work is director-based for the local market. In other words it’s South African print and commercial advertising for South Africans. Locations in general therefore need to look believably local.
